The cost of renting an RV depends on factors such as the type of RV, rental duration, time of year, and location. Prices are set by the owners based on market conditions, region, age and amenities offered and charge by the night per day. Prices range from a $100 for a small campervan to several hundred dollars per day for a luxury motorhome. Additional costs to consider are insurance, mileage fees, and security deposits.
In most cases, a regular driver’s license is sufficient to operate an RV. However, some larger motorhomes may require a special license, such as a Class B or Class C license. The requirements vary by state and country, so it’s essential to check the regulations in the specific area where you plan to rent and travel.
In the event of a mechanical issue, contact the RV Owner (Veteran) immediately. Communication is key. If you opted in for roadside assistance during the booking process, the RV owner (Veteran) will help you coordinate if required. They will provide instructions on how to proceed, which may involve contacting our roadside assistance provider or bringing the RV to an authorized repair facility. It’s important to familiarize yourself with the RVbyMilitary’s policies and procedures for such situations before your trip.
RV rentals typically are equipped with basic amenities such as sleeping areas, kitchen facilities with a stove, refrigerator, and sink, bathroom facilities (toilet and shower), heating and cooling systems, and storage space.
